RAGTIME –  JAZZ –  JIVE! THOMAS “FATS” WALLER HAD IT ALL!aint.jpg

Park Players will present Ain’t Misbehavin’ written by Richard Maltby, Jr. & Murry Horowitz and directed by Trudy Mason.

A delightful tribute and celebration of the music of the sassy, legendary, performer-songwriter, Thomas “Fats” Waller (1904 – 1943).

We welcome all ages over 16 and all ethnicities.

Be prepared to sing 8 – 24 bars of a song from the show like: “Your Feets Too Big”, “Ain’t Misbehavin'”, “Honeysuckle Rose”, “Squeeze Me”, or “Viper’s Drag” or just be prepared to sing. We can accommodate sheet music, recorded accompaniment or acapella. Everyone should be prepared to move (women, skirts and pumps would be a plus!) and dancers be prepared to dance.

For ideas feel free to visit Ain’t Misbehavin’ on YouTube to view the
1978 production with Nell Carter.

Rehearsals are typically Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, and Sunday
