Today Park Players President Marcia Closson and Vice President Tamara Kamara gave a terrific interview for the Craig Fahle show that broadcasts on local public radio station WDET 101.9. They provided an in-depth look at the history of the theater troupe and the neighborhood association, explaining how they’ve supported one another through many changes over the years. They also mentioned our popular current production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Perhaps most impressive is the observation by interviewer Amy Miller’s – a former Rosedale Park resident – that the neighborhood is an important example of a healthy Detroit community in the current climate of serious city re-invention planning.
The show airs at 10am and 7pm, and if you happened to miss it, you can download an MP3 of the show – the interview begins at the 1:10 mark in the 1:45:55-long recording.
